Closure of the Club At the recent A.G.M. and subsequent E.G.M. on April 7th 2009, it was decided to wind up the Club after its 15 years of existence. This decision was not taken lightly and was due to poor attendance at regular meetings. Several efforts over a number of years to increase attendance and membership had proved fruitless and no new committee members came forward at the A.G.M. Many of the existing committee did not wish to continue to serve under these difficult conditions and we therefore had no alternative but to close. We are grateful to our past members for their support over the years and wish them a prosperous future.
